Quantum Science and Technology have emerged in recent years as significant global research areas, attracting attention and contributions from government sectors, academic institutions, and industries. Thailand is joining this movement, establishing a research funding scheme to support cutting-edge quantum technology research.
Siam Quantum Science and Technology (SQST-2024) will be Thailand’s first international conference focused on quantum science and technology research. This event reflects the country’s growing quantum-research community and the government’s commitment to advancing this frontier science. The conference aims to bring together researchers from Thailand and around the world, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and inspiring young scientists in the field. The 4-day event, held in the first week of December, will feature invited talks, contributed talks, and poster sessions selected from submitted abstracts.

The SQST 2024 conference is hosted by the Faculty of Science, Prince of Songkla University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi and Quantum Technology Research initiative collaboration (QTRic).
This event has been organized and followed “Sustainable Event basic guidelines by TCEB” and has planned an event in a sustainable way to avoid the carbon footprint which could occur across five key areas: documentation, food and beverage, transportation, energy use, and decorations.
