Before traveling to Krabi, please check the visa requirements for Thailand https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. In some cases, you might need invitation letters as part of the visa application process. You will receive your invitation letter via email after your registration payment is approved.
Krabi International Airport (KBV):
Krabi International Airport (KBV) is the primary gateway to Krabi Province. It is located approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Krabi Town and serves as the main hub for domestic and international flights. Direct international flights are available from destinations such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and more. — For local connecting flights or for those traveling within Thailand, several domestic airlines operate daily flights to Krabi from major cities like Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai. The airport is served by numerous local airlines including Thai Airways, Bangkok Airways, and AirAsia. Be sure to check with your preferred airline for flight availability and schedules.
Transportation to Aonang Villa Resort:
Upon arriving at Krabi International Airport (KBV), you can easily reach Aonang Villa Resort or hotels nearby (about 27 km, 40-50 mins, from Krabi International Airport) by taxi, shuttle, private transfer, or shared ride applications such as Grab or inDrive. Please beware of scams!

Weather Considerations:
When planning your trip, take into account the weather conditions in Krabi. In December, Krabi enjoys a warm and pleasant climate, making it an ideal winter getaway. The average high temperature during the day is around 31°C (88°F), while nighttime temperatures can drop to a comfortable 23°C (73°F). The sea remains warm, with an average temperature of 28°C (82°F), perfect for swimming and other water activities.
Local Tips:
Currency: The currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). Most transactions are done via cash, though some stores also accept credit and debit cards. Currency exchange counters are available at the airport.
Language: Thai is the official language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas. Time Zone: Krabi operates on Indochina Time (ICT), which is UTC+7.
